I was bored at home one evening when I logged into my Skype only to see I had very few contacts, none of which were online at the time. I then thought it would be nice to easily search, find and add new messenger contacts. Frustrated that Skype didn't provide an efficient search function for discovering new people, I searched the web for a solution only to find there were none. Once I found out through twitter search there were others online wanting new messenger contacts too I immediately began building Kwello.com.
